200+ AI Models Besides ChatGPT: Your Context Is an Asset
Tools, models, and prices will change. The context you own can move with you and become more valuable every time you refine it.

There's no honor in burnout
Both of my children were born by C-section. Both times, I was in the hospital bed with a laptop, sending emails to clients before my epidural even wore off.
With my daughter, I was a contractor with no paid time off. I went back to work two weeks after giving birth. I still remember being at the computer with a baby on my chest as I breastfed.
With my son, I had twelve weeks of leave on paper. He came early, and I was still answering emails from that bed. Both of my children went to the NICU, and I was responding to emails while they were there.
I started interrogating a belief I'd carried for years: that I needed to be exceptional all the time, and that if I didn't do all the things, I wouldn't reach my goals.
That's scarcity thinking, and stories like those are its receipts.
There's no honor in burnout.
Nobody hands out a trophy for answering emails from a hospital bed. The work got done, and it cost me moments I don't get back.
Health is the priority. It is what every other part of life stands on.
Around the time I wrote the original issue, I went to an AI meetup in Chattanooga. Forty adults filled the room on a summer Saturday to spend hours building agents together. Deeply technical people worked beside total beginners. People brought ordinary, useful problems: cooking, job searches, and work they wanted to make easier.
I left with something new to learn. I had gone deep in a small number of tools, then connected a system that opened access to more than 200 models at that time.
The number wasn't the enduring lesson.
The tools will keep changing. What's mine is the context.
Your context is an asset
Here's a question worth sitting with. If the AI platform you use every day changed its rules tomorrow, raised its prices, ended your plan, or got acquired, how much of what it knows about your work would you get to keep?
For many people, the honest answer is none of it. Hundreds of chats deep, every correction, preference, and “no, say it like this” lives inside someone else's system.
Renting the intelligence is fine. I rent models too.
What I refuse to rent is the context.
My business context includes who I help, how I sound, what I sell, what's true right now, my prices, real stories, rules, past writing, and source material. It lives in files I control. Different AI employees can read the same foundation for different jobs.
When I moved the newsletter from one platform to another, the AI's knowledge of the business could move with me because that knowledge didn't belong to either platform.
Rent the tool. Own the context.
This is asset-based thinking applied to AI. Your context becomes more useful each time you correct it. It is portable across tools, and it can outlive any platform's feature list or pricing page.
One thing to do today: get your context out of the chat
Open the AI you already use and give it this goal:
“Everything you know about my work lives in chats I can't easily take with me. Interview me until you have what you'd need to brief a brand-new hire, then write it as one document I can save and reuse anywhere.”
Let it ask. Answer out loud if that's easier. Review the result for errors and missing context, then save the corrected document somewhere you control.
That file is the first page of an asset you own.
