We moved to rural Tennessee and built our 10-acre homestead while I worked in tech, created new income streams, and designed simple AI-powered systems that make family life feel lighter and more intentional.
Seed & Society™ began as our personal blueprint. Today, it’s where I share the tools, workflows, and choices that help modern families create more freedom in their everyday lives — no overwhelm and no starting from scratch.

I’m a homeschooling homesteading mama, wife, and a full-time tech strategist raising two young kids while building a life with options.

I’m Makeda Boehm, founder of Seed & Society™

Freedom is built one choice at a time.

I didn’t grow up with a roadmap. I earned my GED at sixteen, worked my way through college, earned an MBA, and spent the last few years building a tech career where I’ve sold nearly 10 million dollars in software.

At the same time, I was raising babies, caring for family, navigating loss, and choosing a life that gave us room to breathe and room to grow.

We bought ten acres in rural Tennessee and began creating our own version of security. Not the kind you wait until sixty-five to enjoy — the kind you live now. A life where land, AI tools, systems, and multiple income streams work together so your family has real options.

Seed & Society™ is the result of those choices. It’s where I share the tools and strategies we use to save time, earn more, and build long-term stability as a modern family.

It’s not about doing everything. It’s about designing a life that gives your family margin, opportunity, and peace.
