A newsletter should give you something to use
At the time, I was moving the newsletter back to weekly. Doing two a week was not for the faint of heart, and I wanted every issue to be impactful, helpful, actionable, and actually give y'all something you could run with and sink your teeth into.
This was also my baby. I spent more time on it than almost anything else in my content systems, but it was because I cared. And to everyone who had been emailing and interacting, thank you. 💚
The new format started with something from my week, whether that was what I was seeing, a trend I was tracking, or a thing I built with AI. Then came grants and non-dilutive funding, including speaking opportunities, fellowships, and scholarships. The podcast roundup connected the deeper teaching. And the issue closed with something actionable, like a Skill to build, an agent to make, or a prompt to run.
Everything I shared was about creating more money, time, and options with AI, automation, and asset-based systems thinking.
That was the point of the $155,000 headline. It was a snapshot of what was open that week, not evergreen advice. The usefulness came from turning a pile of scattered opportunities into something readers could see, evaluate, and act on before the deadlines passed.
An archive should not pretend those deadlines are still open. It should preserve why the issue mattered.
This one marked the moment the newsletter became more explicit about its job: bring the story, surface the opportunity, connect the education, and give people one useful thing to do next.
