A companion to Context Training

Resources

The working library is in the book. This page keeps the outside resources clickable and current.

Appendix B contains six ready-to-use prompts, three complete starter Skills, and a team exercise built around the Context Training Loop. You can use them as written, adapt them with your own context, or upload the book to your A.I. and ask it to help you choose the right starting point.

The links below are optional next steps from the organizations building many of today's A.I. tools. Return here for clickable links and future updates after this edition goes to print.

Start with one useful next step

Pick the path that matches where you are now.

If this is your first A.I. book

Begin with a real task.

Use Prompt 1 in Appendix B with a voice memo. Then take OpenAI's AI Foundations course if you want a wider introduction.

Find the beginner course

If you already use A.I.

Stop starting over.

Use Prompt 4 to create a current foundation, then turn repeated work into a Skill with Prompt 6.

Compare official guidance

If you lead a team

Test one repeated result.

Run the team exercise in Appendix B, compare the results with your real standard, and teach what the shared foundation missed.

Official prompting and Skills guides

See how the major A.I. platforms explain the work.

These guides helped inform the research behind Appendix B. They use different product language, but the useful pattern is familiar: name the result, add the context that changes it, show what good looks like, check the work, and improve what happens next.
